It has been a few years since the value proposition of the PlayStation Plus service has been reduced and it seemingly does this more and more. You now get fewer games, but you get access to online gaming and cloud saves.
May 2020’s announcement of games was a bit disappointing to many gamers. It appears the audience was not too keen on Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 2019.
The PlayStation Access YouTube channel announces PS+ titles every month and I have investigated what video received the most dislikes. Turns out it was this month! with over 11,000 dislikes.
There has only ever been one other time when the dislikes were higher than the likes. Interestingly that was also in May, but in 2019 with Overcooked and What Remains of Edith Finch. This only reached the heights of 3,400~.
Thankfully, Sony gets it right more often than not and the first 4 months of the year were very strong. You can tell gamers want large ‘Triple A’ games rather than indie or downloadable only titles.
What do you think about this months’ titles?
