Eidos Montreal has announced the release date for the eagerly awaited sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Mankind Divided is set in 2029 in the Czech Republic capital Prague, two years after the events of Human Revolution. Adam Jensen returns as the protagonist, working with an international coalition (reminiscent of UNATCO in Deus Ex) to halt a rising tide of terrorist attacks.
The game will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on February 23, 2016. As a huge fan of the Deus Ex series since the first game released so many years ago, I can’t wait. I wanted a remaster of the original so much that I was looking into things a little too deep, it still needs to happen! Come on Square Enix/Eidos, you’ve already announced the Final Fantasy VII Remake, another one wouldn’t hurt.
