Dragon Age: Inquisition Feedback Should Make for Better Opening

It’s no secret that Dragon Age: Inquisition’s main quest has been fully playable from beginning to end for almost a year before release. BioWare employees were given working copies of the game in December 2013, way ahead of the October 2014 release date, to allow for play-testing and feedback. Mike Laidlaw, creative director on the game said in OPM that there was a lot of great feedback received from this experiment:

One of the larger pieces of feedback won’t surprise anyone who has worked on this kind of endeavour: we made some changes for clarity and pacing to the game’s opening. Openings are always hard, and evolving them based on actual feedback is critical.

So hopefully, due to the feedback the developers have received internally, we can expect a big set-piece opening for Dragon Age: Inquistion. The game is out October 7th, 2014, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
