E3 2016: EA Press Conference Summary and Round-Up

Electronic Arts were first up at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016, and whilst we thought it may have started off with a bang, EA’s showing was underwhelming to say the least. Here is a round-up of all the announcements that were made:

  • Titanfall 2
    • Titanfall 2 announced for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
    • Single-player campaign confirmed and trailer shown, looks like they want to make you care about the Titan.
    • New multiplayer trailer Shown.
    • Multiplayer beta will also be coming.
    • October 28 release date announced
  • Battlefield 1
    • Trailer shown.
    • Beta coming this summer, no date.
    • Release date is October 21, can play it a week early if you subscribe to Xbox One EA Access.
  • Mass Effect: Andromeda
    • New trailer.
    • Some extra details – new story, trying to find a new home for mankind.
    • No release date or window announced at all.
  • Star Wars
    • EA showed off some of their upcoming Star Wars projects including a Visceral developed game.
    • Everything is very far off, concept arts, CG renders.
  • FIFA 17
    • New story mode, will follow the story of Alex Hunter as he makes his way into the English Premier League. Not in Xbox 360, PS3 Versions.
    • Similar to boxing game story modes, from nobody to somebody.
  • Madden NFL 17
    • New ‘Play The Moment’ feature so you can play American football’s key moments.
    • New trailer shown.
  • EA Originals announces new Indie game; Fe. Similar to Unraveled deal.
