A few months ago, we brought you a report that a lot of users were having issues with the Uncharted 4 Limited Edition PS4 Console. This led to an assumption that the failure rate of the limited edition was higher than standard PS4 consoles, and we now have a way that you can possibly fix the issue without having to send the console back in to Sony.
The fix essentially re-installs the system software from scratch on the console, which you wouldn’t think would need doing on a brand new machine. The video above will walk you through the steps, but we’ve got it written down on the third page of our How to Fix PS4 Blue Light article.
This may not fix it, but if you can get to the safe mode, there’s a good chance. Thanks to Michael Kellman for the information.
