It’s no secret that when it comes to firmware updates, Sony is quick to enhance security, but rarely add any meaningful features. However, version 4.0 of the PlayStation 4 firmware, which is going out to beta testers soon, will include one of the most requested features by users. Folders.
That’s right, you will finally be able to organise your games into ways that make sense to you rather than relying on the PS4’s automatic sorting which was based on the last game you played. This feature has been available on the PS3 for a long time so it’s surprising that it has taken so long to enable it on this console, but it’s coming soon, and we can’t wait.
