Almost immediately after the DualSense was revealed the internet was begging for a black controller. For the first time Sony released a ‘white’ console and controller. No official black controller as of yet, so you may have to take matters into your own hands.
Some guy spray painted his black and it looks great. He even reported that the touchpad still works.
Not only did he manage to maintain the texture, but he went one step further and swapped out the buttons and d-pad. It took some filing to get them to fit.
All you need is a matte black can of spray paint and multiple light coats, but do this at your own risk.
