Bethesda’s E3 2015 press conference, which was scheduled to take place at 7PM Pacific Time on Sunday June 14, 2015 has finished. Here is a summary and round-up of all the biggest announcements and the main details that you need to know from the event.

- Pete Hines on stage to talk about Doom.
- Gameplay reveal trailer, looks brutal and fantastic.
- Multiplayer reveal, looks a lot like Quake.
- Snapmap announced – User-generated content, mods, co-op, map creater. Platform agnostic.
- Hell gameplay shown, looks like there may be no fall damage.
- Spring 2016 release date – PS4, Xbox One, PC
- Bethesda.net announced, linking all the games.
- Battlecry global beta announced, register www.battlecrythegame.com. Beta will be this Fall, gameplay of the game was shown.
- Arkane Studios announces Dishonored 2, show female assassin. No release date.
- Dishonored Definitive Edition announced for this Fall, Xbox One, PS4. All DLC, improved graphics.
- The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited
- Imperial City content added to the game.
- Orsinium: Land of the Orcs content added to the game.
- The Elder Scrolls: Legends trading card game announced – iPad, PC. Free to play.
- Fallout Shelter – 2.5D iOS game announced, and now available to download. Free to play, no time limits. Sim City – like game.
- Todd Howard has taken the stage to talk about Fallout 4:
- Fallout 4 concept arts shown.
- Character customisation shown.
- Based on creation engine, looks amazing, especially environments.
- Can send command to your companion, Dog shown.
- V.A.T.S. is back!
- Layered armour system shown.
- Pip boy has games on it.
- Collector’s Edition has real pip boy, can place a phone in it and download an app for it.
- The app links to the pip boy in the game, can be used without the pip boy housing.
- Can turn items into scrap to build a town. The town will get attacked by raiders, so you need to create defences. Optional tower-defence type game.
- Crafting system to build weapons and armour, over 50 base weapons, and 700 modifications.
- Release date announced as November 10, 2015.
As far as conferences go, Bethesda’s first was pretty damn good. The Doom demo at the beginning was a little long, but it was full of heavy-hitters. Fallout 4’s release date announcement will have many happy, I know I am!
