New artwork released for The Last of Us Part 2 has been released, these can be found on the dynamic theme that was on the store yesterday.
The Last of Us took the two person AI co-op partner to the next level. Once Ellie gets a hold of a switch blade she helps you out by jumping on the backs of enemies and stabbing them in the neck.
You can use a machete when you are Joel, so it is a great thing to see that Ellie has also taken the weapon up too. She has been known for using the blade and the bow and arrow, so much so, a statuette was released.
But, it seems that Naughty Dog is confident enough to create a machete wielding one too. This suggests to me that it will be a common or standard weapon in the game.
The Last of Us Part 2 will be released on the 29th of May 2020.
