Preparing For The Megaton: Top 5 Perks to Choose for Fallout 4

As part of our Fallout 4 coverage we’re trying to prepare our dwellers for the wastelands. If you’ve not already seen it, have a look at Fallout perks you should try and avoid as well. However, today we’re looking at Fallout perks that you might want to make sure you get, even though we don’t know what the perks are exactly, there’s a good chance that those that appeared in previous games will appear in Fallout 4. These perks are stat bonuses for your character and they’re extremely useful depending on which ones you choose. It all depends on your play style, but some are more useful than others. Here are the perks we think are worth getting.

5. Explorer – All locations are marked on your map


This perk will almost definitely be included in Fallout 4, as it is in pretty much every Fallout game. It’s self-explanatory, and tends to be a perk that you will select towards the end of your game. It should help a lot in finding Pip-Boy bobble heads, as well quests you may have missed out on.

4. Better Criticals – +50% damage with critical hits


This perk has appeared in most of the previous Fallout games, so it seems like it is a good bet that it will appear in Fallout 4. This is one of the most useful perks you can get in Fallout and should help you survive in the wasteland. If you’ve put a lot of points in to your Luck (in your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. skills) this should be even better for you.
